Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 8, 2026
LifeScheduler is an iOS application for managing tasks, appointments, reminders, and related scheduling information. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.
Information you enter
LifeScheduler allows you to enter task titles, deadlines, appointments, locations, and other details. Based on the current app design, these records are stored locally on your device. Some information may also be shared between the app and its widget through Apple's App Group storage.
Microphone and speech recognition
If you choose to use voice input, LifeScheduler requests access to your microphone and Apple's speech recognition services to turn speech into text. Speech recognition may involve processing by Apple, depending on your device and Apple's service behavior. You can decline or revoke these permissions in iOS Settings and use manual entry instead.
Location and routes
If you choose a feature that needs your current location or an estimated travel time, LifeScheduler may request location access and use Apple's Core Location and MapKit services to calculate routes or travel estimates. Location permission is optional and can be changed in iOS Settings. Apple's handling of information used by these services is governed by Apple's privacy practices.
Notifications and widgets
With your permission, LifeScheduler schedules local notifications for tasks and appointments. The app may display scheduling information on your device through widgets and Live Activities. You control notification permissions through iOS Settings.
Third-party services
The app uses Apple-provided platform services including speech recognition, location, maps, notifications, and widgets. These services may process information as described in Apple's privacy disclosures. LifeScheduler's current app code does not include a developer-operated account service, advertising SDK, or third-party analytics SDK.
Retention and deletion
Task and appointment records remain on your device until you change or remove them through the app, or remove app data through your device's available controls. Uninstalling the app generally deletes its locally stored app data, subject to iOS backup and restore behavior. Some completed or expired items may be removed automatically under the app's retention rules.
Children
LifeScheduler is a general-purpose productivity tool and is not specifically directed at children.
Changes
We may update this policy when app features or data practices change. The effective date above will be updated when a revised version is published.
